Framing one of the UK’s leading digital film innovators

Mission are one of the leading providers of digital workflow solutions within the tv and film industry. With offices in London, Cardiff and Rome; Mission has serviced projects across the globe and their exponential growth has led them to outgrow their existing brand.

The Brief 

Originally founded in 2011, Mission began its journey as a startup. Since then, the company had outgrown their original branding and arrived at a point where this was no longer representative of their service, values and ethos.

In order to create a brand identity that would provide the cornerstone for future growth, we worked with Mission to develop an identity that would help tell their story and celebrate their ‘philosophy over technology’ ethos.

The Design

After gaining an insight and understanding of the fundamental processes and values that Mission hold, we were able to develop a logo and brand identity that was inherently ‘Mission’. The foundation of which is based on the 16:9 frame – the industry standard ratio for tv and film. This then integrated as a grid system and flexible framing device that adds depth and cohesiveness throughout Mission’s communications.

The Delivery

We have since worked with Mission to activate the brand across print and digital media, from industry-specific report brochures, event banner stands to a new website and posts for social media.
